Deck-Mate Insulation Spacer
Deck-Mate® Insulation Spacer (with a density of 32kg/m3) are made from high compressive strength 300kpa closed cell styrofoam meaning they won’t absorb moisture.
Deck-Mate® Insulation Spacer is also available in 1250mm long strips.
Deck-Mate® Insulation Spacer in the BCA (Building Code of Australia) - widely known as Part J. These provisions clearly specify the minimum deemed-to-satisfy levels of insulation required for commercial buildings.
The use of Deck-Mate® Insulation Spacer above the glasswool insulation blanket allows for the blanket to recover to its nominal thickness and achieve the total R-values.
