Pink® EmberGuard™ Building Blanket
Pink® EmberGuard™, with a nominal density of 18 kg/m³, is a non-combustible, mineral wool building blanket. It is designed to be compressed under sheet and tiled roofing elements to seal gaps under the corrugations or ribs and between roof components in accordance with the bushfire construction requirements of AS3959-2009 Clause 5.6.2.
Gaps that occur at ridge capping, valleys and fascias are typical locations for Pink® EmberGuard™ building blanket to be installed. It must be installed in conjunction with SisalTuff™ 456 sarking or alternative Sisalation® sarking (see specification notes for details).
Pink® EmberGuard™ building blanket is suitable for use in bushfire prone areas with a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) of 12.5 - 40. It is a cost effective, regulatory compliant solution providing peace of mind against ember attack.
