Poly Batts Polyester Insulation
Poly Batts Polyester Insulation, the soft touch choice, are made from a blend of polyester fibres bonded with a low melt fibre to produce a 100% polyester insulation.
Polyester fibres are made from synthetic polymers known as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) - chemical substances found mainly in petroleum. To reduce landfill, plastic drink bottles are also recycled to produce a portion of the fibres used to manufacture Poly Batts Polyester Insulation.
The strong, lightweight, fibres are soft to handle, making for easy installation in walls, ceilings and between floors of timber framed construction.
They have the added benefit of being a sound absorber and so contribute to both the thermal and acoustic comfort of building occupants
Poly Batts Polyester Insulation are available in a range of widths to suit stud spacing’s and R-values to suit all climate zones throughout Australia.
