All Sisalation® products in the Multi Purpose End Use Category are recommended for installation in a variety of stated product specific applications following rigorous testing of their individual performance characteristics and superior quality features in these applications.

Sisalation® Multi Purpose Extra Heavy Duty (456)
Sisalation® Sisaltuff Multi Purpose Extra Heavy Duty (456) consists of outer layers of aluminium foil bonded to Extra Heavy Duty weave, bonded together with a heavy coating of flame retardant adhesive. The weave face is blue to reduce any problems with reflected glare during installation. SisalTuff™ Multi-Purpose Extra Heavy Duty (456) is an Extra Heavy Duty reflective foil laminate specifically developed for use in the sarking of residential metal roofs, tile roof and as a wall wrap. Flame retardant SisalTuff™ 456 is suitable for use in buildings in bushfire prone areas. When used in conjunction with an airspace it is an effective thermal insulation material because of the high reflectivity and low emissivity of its aluminium foil surface. It also provides an effective barrier against moisture, vapours, wind, heat and dust penetration when overlapped and sealed with Sisalation® Vapastop® 883 self adhesive aluminium tape.

Sisalation® Multi Purpose Light Duty (439)
Sisalation® Multi Purpose Light Duty (439) is suited to applications where good all round strength, durability and ease of installation are required. It is ideally suited for application under metal roofs, in walls behind cladding in residential and commercial buildings under normal conditions, or for many applications such as bushfire protection for windows or protecting commercial seedling crops.

Sisalation® Multi Purpose Light Duty (438)
Sisalation® Multi Purpose Light Duty (438) is suited to applications where a combination of ease of handling together with reasonable strength and durability are required. It is primarily suited for application as wall insulation behind cladding but may also be installed under metal roofs for residential and commercial buildings where an economical lightweight product is acceptable.
